Taskling LLC ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Taskling LLC in relation to your use of our mobile application, Micro Journal (the "App").

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2.1. Account Information

To provide cloud synchronization features, we may ask you to create an account using your email address or third-party authentication services (e.g., Google Sign-In). We collect your email address and basic profile information to manage your account and secure your data.

2.2. Journal Data

The core function of Micro Journal is to track your daily mood and notes.

  • Cloud Storage: Your journal entries (dates, mood emojis, and notes) are securely stored on cloud servers provided by Google Firebase. This allows you to access your data across multiple devices and prevents data loss if you change your device.
  • Data Privacy: Your journal content is private. We do not sell your personal journal data to third parties.

2.3. Usage Data & Diagnostics

We may collect information that your device sends whenever you use the App, such as:

  • Device model and operating system version.
  • Crash logs and performance data (via Firebase Crashlytics) to help us improve app stability.

3. Third-Party Services

We utilize third-party services for data storage, authentication, and analytics. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

The key third-party service provider used by the App is:

  • Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Crashlytics, Analytics)

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data and journal entries for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service.

  • Your Rights: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
  • How to Delete: You can delete your account directly within the App settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon request, all your data stored on Firebase servers will be permanently deleted.

5. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information and we use industry-standard security measures (provided by Google Firebase) to protect your data during transmission and storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
